I am a three-time Emmy Award winning director, producer, interviewer, and writer working in unscripted television. I created and executive produced Slobby’s World (Netflix) and Timber Kings (HGTV Canada), which ran for four seasons, spawned a spinoff, and became the number one series in the network’s history. I also served as showrunner for the launch season of Timber Kings, which premiered with 4.5 times the network’s average viewership in its timeslot.
Earlier in my career, I was Development Producer, Executive Producer, and Showrunner on Saw Dogs (Discovery), and spent more than a decade producing news and documentaries focused on social and medical issues impacting children and families. During that time, I conducted more than 2,000 interviews, often on sensitive topics, and led crews through 25 U.S. states. Two of my Emmy Awards recognize Outstanding Documentary work, and the third honors Best Public Affairs Programming.
Beyond television, I have brought my storytelling experience to brand campaigns for clients including the New York State Education Department, Morehouse College, the Centers for Disease Control, Neutrogena, RL Leaders, the U.S. Army, THQ Video Games, Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, and Los Angeles Unified School District. Across broadcast, documentary, and branded content, my work is grounded in curiosity, empathy, and precision.
Today, I am the founder of Showrilly, a platform I built after encountering the same problem repeatedly on both sides of the pitch table. Strong unscripted ideas often struggle to reach the right producers, while producers lack efficient ways to discover pitch-ready projects. Showrilly gives creators a professional, structured way to present their ideas, and gives producers a way to browse, track, and engage with projects on their own time.
Showrilly is designed as a working development environment shaped by real industry behavior, not theory. It reflects how producers actually evaluate ideas and how creators can better package, protect, and move their work forward.
